#ShowMeYourWalk HBCU Edition

Commencement ceremonies were canceled nationwide, but JP Morgan Chase made it a priority to honor the graduating class of 2020. Following a National graduation event, we partnered with Chase to create a virtual commencement celebration for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). President Barack Obama and 40+ athletes, entertainers, and politicians honored and inspired HBCU students around the country. We united the HBCU community and told their rich history by highlighting notable alumni, organizations, and individuals who have contributed to the narrative. This viral celebration raised money for HBCUs and reaffirmed Chase’s commitment to supporting and investing in educational and career opportunities for black students.

OBE handled talent management, speaker kits, social & live stream brand design, comms with 78 universities & 30k+ students, ROS creation, and trafficking of 500+ assets for media usage. We’re grateful to be able to help spark positive conversations and bring the HBCU community together around the country. Check out the video recap here.
