Skate Free Mobile Tour
For Nike SB’s launch of their latest shoe and technology—the Nike Free SB—we developed a mobile unit that hit the streets of Los Angeles and Phoenix, with the intention of inspiring and enabling consumers to #SkateFree.
We customized a glass truck with a coved, slo-mo video capture booth inside. To showcase the technology of the Nike Free SB, consumers were invited into the truck for a one-on-one trialing experience, complete with a video from Nike SB athlete Sean Malto telling them what to expect. Then they showed off some tricks ranging from ollies to kickflips for a slo-mo capture. We sent them a video to post on social media and handed them a printed flip-book of their trick as they exited the truck.
Outside of the truck, each consumer was given the opportunity in a private setting to tell us what they really thought of the Nike Free SB in an audio sound booth.
To top it off, we elevated our consumers to star-level status by rear projecting their slow-mo videos onto screens in the windows of the truck when it wasn’t in use.
