2021-Present
Nike and DICK’S Sporting Goods wanted to create a space for girls to make bold plays on (and off) the basketball court. The solution? It’s Her Shot - a day of free skills clinics, practice drills, pick-up games, coaching, access to WNBA athletes and influencers, giveaways, custom swag, and more for girls ages 8-18.
What started as a single-city event in 2021, evolved into an annual multi-city series designed to empower the next generation of girl ballers. It’s Her Shot is on a mission to break stereotypes, inspire, and create a safe space that cultivates a sense of belonging. Each season looks to expand their reach and message, evolve their content to make more of an impact, and help more girls claim their rightful place on the court.
