Create and Cultivate Small Business Summit
Women are more likely to start a business than men, but only receive 2% of total venture capital funding. To address this discrepancy, we joined forces with Facebook to support female small business owners at the Create & Cultivate Small Business Summit presented by Mastercard.
The first event of its kind, the Summit kicked off with a keynote from actress and Detroit Blows Co-founder Sophia Bush and was followed by a day full of inspiring panels from female entrepreneurs and leaders, hands-on workshops and booths (looking at you, Boost with Facebook pop-up), networking opportunities, playful photo ops (our personal fav—“Girls just wanna have fund$”), and so much more.
